Morning, and where to start? Perhaps the temptation in the 2:50 at Redcar which is a tricky handicap with no clear favourite, and perhaps an opportunity for Harry George given that he’s on winning form and has been awarded just 3lb for all that. I mean, you want around 5/1 given the potential in the field, which includes the form horse and RTH Selection Dawaaleeb who is 22% ahead of the field in terms of LR (last race) form with a 100+ rating after a handy 3rd at Thirsk.

Either of them could run into the places.

Witch Hunt gets horse of the day in the 5:40 at Kempton and this comes after a first run as a 3yo at Lingfield which was a promising 2nd. We can scratch the debut as a 2yo, because 2yos are not 3yos, even if they’re the same horse (Pinatubo anyone?) and this run at Kempton comes at the right time and at the right price – around 5/2. Keep an eye on Mia Dolan on debut, because breeding & jockey are quite good.

1:15 at Redcar and Tom’s Reign Beau has been knocking around in Class 3 and Class 2 company over the last three races, and hasn’t fared too well. But if you go back to his last Class 5 race, he won at Beverley, and is back in Class 5 company today in this middling little race. He’s got wins in him, and while it may be a case of looking for a place today, he’s back at the right level.

Over to you now!
