Morning everyone. Well, then, another week, another dollar. I’m going to start with old Kempers favourite Griggy who is around 5/1 right now in the market in the 1:45. He’s really dropping back in grade, but last time out was an improvement and we often have to give him a couple of races off the back of a break before he’s really motoring. Wins have come off higher, and this may be a good opportunity to get back into winning ways.

In the 2:15, Los Camachos is even longer, and this is another one for Grace McEntee who takes Griggy in the previous race as well. 15/2 right now for a horse that bounced back into form last time at Wolvo, has a 50% win rate at Kempers and is topping the ratings with a tonne of green lozenges on the racecard. There’s loads to like about this one, most of all the price

Now then, at 3:30, serial winner Atrafan is 10/3 at the moment and not evens – why so? Because it’s a distance at which he’s habitually failed and he won the last two up at Newcastle, so transferring that 6f Newcastle form to 7f Southwell form might be hard. Sovereign Moon returns to the same conditions as his last-time-out win at Southwell and he may provide you at least a place in response to this tricky little puzzle of a race. 5/1 right now, while Crazy Spin is running into some form at last, and might equally place.

You can say much the same for Liva who is 8/1 in the 4:20 – up just 1lb having won recently, nudging into some really good form. This is a selection that tends to run best at Kempton, and if running from the front, should be another place opportunity at the very least.
